Consultant
Joy Avery joined Gaines International in April of 2011 as a Consultant. She focuses on recruiting and candidate development targeting mid- to senior-level strategic hires within Architecture, Interiors, Engineering, Construction, and Real Estate Development firms. At Gaines, Joy works hand-in-hand with the internal research team as well as the business development team while partnering with the clients in order to successfully complete each initiative. Additionally, Joy attends business development events to assist in marketing the Gaines’ brand.
Joy brings experience in research and recruiting coming from both a corporate perspective and a search firm perspective. Graduating from Columbia International University in South Carolina Joy moved to Illinois in 2003. She currently resides in the suburbs of Chicago and commutes to the downtown office.
