Overview:

Our client provides architecture, interior design, engineering and planning services for clients across the country in markets such as office workplace, healthcare, learning, government and science and technology. The firm is an organization of creative professionals committed to achieving design excellence and environmental sustainability in diverse project solutions. Due to strategic growth and planning, the firm has an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager.

The Senior Project Manager will have overall responsibility for client satisfaction, service quality and financial performance. He/She will manage small to large scale interior design projects (including negotiating project scope and fees, job production and quality, fee management and collection). The Senior Project Manager will establish and monitor project budgets and schedules. He/She will manage a team of two to six junior and intermediate designers and project architects on a rotating basis. The Senior Project Manager will provide mentoring and coaching to staff members. He/She will assist with business development efforts and participate in marketing proposals and interviews. The Senior Project Manager will maintain a high profile in relevant professional organizations to promote the firm.

Qualifications:

The candidate should have a Bachelor of Architecture or Interior Design degree; Registration and LEED are preferred. He/She should have at least 12 years of progressive experience leading medium to large-scale projects. The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of entire project delivery process. He/She should be comfortable managing the client, the process and the project team and have a strong commitment to design and excellence in client service. The candidate should be able to help recruit, train and retain staff and have excellent written and verbal skills.
