Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the interior design concept and its continuing development through completed construction/installation
• May be assigned as a programmer, space planner, or interior designer on projects that are performed with the Architectural Department
• Develops and graphically portrays the total interior design concept to achieve proper balance of form, function and cost
• Coordinates the selection of materials, colors and finishes as well as the preparation of design studies and presentations
• Oversees the production of documentation and presentation files
• Develops or directs the development of furnishings, contract documents and specifications
• Directs the administration of the furniture and furnishings drawings and specifications during the construction and/or installation of the project to insure conformance with the design concept
• Helps train, develop and evaluate individual designers assigned to a project
• Participates in marketing/sales presentations

Qualifications:

• Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Minimum of 15 years of Interior Design experience
• Well organized with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to do what it takes to complete an assignment
• Personally creative and innovative with an openness to new ideas and ways of thinking
• Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to deal effectively with personnel at all levels
• High integrity, open, honest and ethical in all interactions
