Donna Gaines and Gaines International, in association with Dorie
Ellzey Blesoff, will augment their professional search consulting
practice when they begin offering clients a variety of integrated
services including Organization Development Consulting, Board
of Directors and Advisory Board Member Search, and Reference
Checking effective February 1st. Furthermore, Gaines International
has promoted Cathie Kempf to Vice President from Senior Associate
at the firm.
Gaines International and Blesoff draw upon their strategic alliance
to collaborate with clients to meet specific organizational
goals and provide clients with the necessary tools to help them
navigate the continuous changes in the design build industry.
The Gaines-Blesoff team brings unique insight and a wealth of
experience to each individual situation. From leadership development
to strategic change management strategies to assistance with
board member searches, the team strategizes with each client
to determine and recommend the best solutions for the issues
at hand.

Gaines is President and Founder of Gaines International and
has over 25 years of experience as a search specialist. She
has established herself as an expert in her field and is committed
to understanding the needs of her clients and evolving the business
to meet those needs. Gaines draws upon her studies at the University
of Illinois School of Business and her knowledge of the real
estate, architecture, engineering and construction industries
to consistently provide exceptional service and results for
the firm’s clients.
Blesoff has over 20 years of experience as an organization development
and human resources executive. Most recently, she served as
the Managing Director of Human Resources for PriceWaterhouseCoopers’
Business Process Outsourcing/North America where she formulated
shared policies and practices including people development principles
and strategies. She serves on the adjunct faculty at the Northwestern
University School of Education and Social Policy and at the
Loyola University Graduate Center for Organization Development.
Kempf is a Vice President in the Washington, DC office of Gaines
International. She has worked with Gaines International for
over 13 years and draws upon her previous experience in real
estate, construction and design to better understand the needs
of her clients. In addition to continuing to expand Gaines International’s
presence in the Mid-Atlantic region, Kempf will serve on the
firm’s executive committee and will take on a firm-wide
management role. She is also actively involved with ACE mentoring
program that educates underprivileged high school students about
careers in the fields of architecture, construction and engineering.
