Kathy Zemba is a Research Manager in the Chicago office of Gaines International. She joined Gaines in 2003 after working for two years as part of the research team within Whitney Group, an executive search firm specializing in real estate, financial services and biotechnology. Her executive search experience and her natural talent for incisive inquiry are a winning combination for Gaines. Kathy works closely with the Gaines consultants to provide targeted research for all active assignments. As part of the Research team, Kathy provides target lists, identifies candidates, maintains the Gaines proprietary database, tracks industry trends and assists with background information for new business development initiatives.

A graduate of Millikin University, Kathy also received her Masters in History from the University of London. She is currently taking classes towards a Master in Library Science at the University of Illinois at Champaign. Kathy is a member of the Special Libraries Association and the American Libraries Association.
