Since joining Gaines International in 2005, Todd has managed search assignments for a range of clients specializing in the built environment from boutique-sized firms to international companies. His collaboration with Gaines clients has resulted in strategic hires including the following high level roles: Vice Presidents, Directors, Principals, CEOs, and other senior management positions in architecture, interior design, engineering, building products, and design/build.

Todd’s prior search experience involved client and candidate development for a leading international search firm where he specialized in the recruitment of finance professionals for a variety of industries. Prior to entering executive search, he had a successful 10-year career as a financial professional in the marketing communications and banking industries.

Todd holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from The University of Iowa. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, golf, fishing or just about anything involving the outdoors and supporting his favorite sport teams.
